Turning stories into positive change

Stories are all around us, but what makes one powerful enough for you to act?

It’s about finding the right one to tell at the right time to the right people.

It’s about showing what it feels like to be part of someone else’s life for that one moment.

This has the power not only to make a story drive an entire campaign, but one that is essential and urgent, that stays with you, that simply must be acted upon.

This is what we do.

Our story

We are an independent, strategic campaign agency dedicated to making a positive impact through powerful, compelling storytelling.

Toby and Laura met in the field at the peak of the refugee crisis.  Their shared emphasis on integrity and natural ability to extract and tell people’s stories honestly and sensitively has enabled them to create outstanding content for campaigns all over the world.

Antonia has worked for 20 years in advocacy and international development. 10 years ago she launched a long-term campaign with Toby to establish a maternal health charity in west Africa which has grown to provide health cover for thousands of people and is now a self-sufficient enterprise.

Together, madden.gilmour has experience of every step of a campaign, insight from every angle, inside and out.

Our team is made up of creatives and strategists who reflect our values and bring their specialist knowledge and skills to the campaign.
